This was hands down the most massive project I've ever taken on up to this point; art directing a two-minute long, 20k motion graphics piece on one of the highest-resolution screens on earth. The piece challenged me to juggle the logistical complications of directing 14 different designers and animators, familiarizing them with such a large format and keeping a consistent artistic look for the piece.
Creating something at such a massive resolution stretched the capabilities of the software forcing the team and myself to find unique strategies to problem solve and work around these limitations. Like any project of its size there were many hurdles but the studio loved the end result and asked us to create an HD version, the first minute of which was showcased in the "Fantastic Beasts" Global Fan Even and IMAX Featurette above.
